Ancestral Waters
The fight against Tacoma LNG wasn’t a new one for the spuyaləpabš or “people from the bend at the bottom of the river,” and we have been honored to stand in support of an incredible and inspiring tribal response as they stand up against a fracked gas facility on tribal waters, in the midst of unprecedented climate change.
Trailer
A tribe’s 170-year fight to survive continues as they stand up against a fracked gas facility on tribal waters, in the midst of unprecedented climate change.
The film, which was an official selection for the Gig Harbor Film Festival in 2022, is now available in full on our YouTube channel

We have compiled much of our raw footage into a documentary to give you a glimpse from inside the movement. We hope that through this journey you learn something new and come away inspired. Most importantly we hope it enhances your respect for the Puyallup Tribe and their deep connection to their land and waters.
